Dura Piercer

The QFlow 500™ Accessories – Probe Dura Piercer and Introducer Kit (H0000-3683) are designed to assist in the placement of the Hemedex QFlow 500™ Perfusion Probe when using Hemedex QFlow 500™ Titanium Bolt Kits. The kit includes the probe dura piercer, a compression fitting, a probe introducer, and a retaining tube. The Dura Piercer is to be used in situations where the clinician desires to enhance the opening through the dura for insertion of the perfusion probe. The Probe Introducer is to be used in situations where the clinician desires to enhance the stiffness of the perfusion probe to improve insertion. Pre-loading the perfusion probe into the Compression Fitting/Probe Introducer at the desired depth of 3 cm may also be the preferred technique for some clinicians.

The Probe Dura Piercer may be used with the Dual Lumen and Quad Lumen Bolt Kits.
